Please note that although the CCA 2025 Annual Conference app is also available for tablets and computers, the camera function is only available in the mobile version of the app.

Camera Access and QR Code Scanning

Our app requests access to your device’s camera solely to scan QR codes from participating businesses. Scanning a QR code allows a user to enter into a raffle giveaway.

Camera access is used only when initiated by the user. We do not record, save, or transmit any images or video during QR code scanning.

Information We Collect

When you scan a QR code, we collect:

• First and last name
• Email address
• The business associated with the scanned QR code
• The time and date of the scan

This information is collected with your explicit consent prior to the time of the scan. You are only able to access the QR code scanner built into our app after giving explicit consent and permission to use the QR code scan information to earn an entry into a raffle and to allow the business whose QR code you scanned to receive your first name, last name, and email address for marketing and promotional purposes.

How Your Information Is Used

We use the information to:

• Register your raffle entry
• Track engagement with QR codes
• Share your name and email address with the business whose QR code you scanned
